Sunday " Coffee Table Talks " Times: 9:15- 10:15 am

Come for Coffee Time

Discussion Topics are done in the round and generally based on the season and or the day's sermon. Lead by Pastor Dave this "Coffee Table Format" offers members and guests alike the opportunity to go in depth with the scripture readings.

Participants are encouraged with open discussion in current day applications of scripture readings. These thought provoking formus are designed to open the door to God's word in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Join us each Sunday at 9:15 am between services for this time of reflection and scripture study.

Raising Faithful Children

At Christ Lutheran

Starting June 12

6 week courses

Tue. Wed. or Thur.

7 — 8 PM

Cost $10

Provides a process that builds community through prayer, mutual support, biblical reflection, and ministry tasks.

· Helping parents understand the characteristics of their child's developmental stage through small group discussion 

· Teaching parenting skills through resource content and by drawing on the experience of group participants 

· Exploring biblical foundations, baptismal connections, and the Search Institute developmental assets 

Intersections, Parenting: Raising Faithful -

Preschoolers. For Parents of Children Ages 3-6

Grade Schoolers. For Parents of Children Ages 6-10

Younger Adolescents.  For Parents of Children Ages 10-14

Older Adolescents. For Parents of High school Youth

            This study is specifically designed for parents of high school youth. It provides ideas and strategies for helping to nurture faith in the lives of youth by sharing Christian values, celebrating rituals, praying together, serving those in need, and developing a strong family life.
