Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther kicked off the Protestant Reformation, which contributed to the birth of our modern age. In this one hour special — filmed on location in Europe — Rick Steves tells the story of a humble monk who lived a dramatic life. Christ Lutheran Church will be showing this video followed by discussion on Sat. September 23, 7-9 p.m. Come early for pupus at 6 p.m.

at The Cathedral of St. Andrew 229 Queen Emma Square, Honolulu Sat. October 14 at 3 p.m. This worship service is for ALL congregations. They are in need of 2 people from each congregation to help with the worship service (usher/greet/etc.)
Educational Opportunity for Everyone!
Speaker Rev. Dr. David Lose, also pastor, past seminary president, and author of several books, will be offering a lecture at Tenney Theatre at St. Andrew's Cathedral. Sun. October 15, 2-4 p.m.Dr. Lose will talk about the Reformation: it's historical importance, how it helped us get to where we are today, and what it means for us moving into the future. There will also be time for questions and discussions. This is free...and all are welcome.
