​ (Institute for Human Services) - Christ Lutheran Church feeds the hungry in Honolulu in conjunction with the Institute of Human Services each first Saturday, every other month. There is no greater sense of purpose than to help the hungry. Join us in this very important mission as we reach out to help those in need.

Catechism Classes
Starting Wednesday, January 8th, 6:30pm at CLC. For those in grades 9-12 (or higher) who are interested in sustained study of scripture, faith and spiritual formation.  
We will look at the basics of the faith: Old and New Testament stories, Christian theology, Lutheran doctrine, Martin Luther, and the Small Catechism, including the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer and the sacraments of Baptism and Communion.

  • Services are based on the Lutheran worship calendar and the Revised (ecumenical) Lectionary.
  • 7:00 a.m. Contemplative Service with communion, prayer, scripture, and quiet reflection. 
  • 10:00  a.m. Contemporary Service of Holy Communion with children's message, and a blend of contemporary and traditional Christian music. 
  • During communion alongside the bread and wine, gluten free communion wafers and grape juice are available.
  • A Liturgy of Healing with the laying on of hands and anointing with oil is offered on 2nd Sundays of each month.
